Well, I was thinking about interviewing an author today, but she was unavoidably detained to the dentist… 🙂

So, I’m going to talk about CHOCOLATE. 😀

After lunch, I unwrapped a piece of chocolate and the wrapper said, “Your smile lights up the room”. It made me smile, until I started to think about it. It’s just a chocolate wrapper. They have all sorts of wrappers saying all sorts of stuff, just trying to make the person feel good about themselves just so they sell more.

I don’t need a chocolate wrapper telling me a about my smile, it means nothing! I don’t need the chocolate’s wrapper’s approval. (if I do, just hit me the Bible a couple of times, then maybe I’ll be ok…)

At the end of the day, it is one of the millions of wrappers that the company doesn’t care about.

So, who’s approval does matter? God’s.

As long as I am doing what I am supposed to do with my life, chocolate wrappers, hobos, air planes can all tell me I’m wasting me life, but you know what? I don’t need their approval. 🙂

I’m not saying that it the cashier at a fast food place is glad you are a firefighter, you should glare at them and yell at them. It’s great if people can encourage you to do something that you love, that you are supposed to do, but at the end of the day… as long as you are doing God’s will, people can wish death upon you, or try to kill your dreams with a smile, or like the chocolate wrapper, try to make you feel good about yourself.

Have God in your life, try to do His will, and though other’s approval would be nice I’m positive, at least you are doing God’s will, right? 🙂
