About Naomi

Naomi Downing is a homeschool graduate who spends way too much of her time getting emotionally invested in fictional characters. When not driving her car The Silver Bullet too work and school, you can find her dreaming about the next trip she wants to take. Her writing has shown up on http://www.homeschoolingteen.com, she writes a monthly column for Pursue at http://www.pursue.net , and has worked on the marketing team for Birch House Press.

Thanks for stopping by my blog! But if you want to get to know me a little better here are some fun facts!
I’m a homeschool graduate currently going to college to become a teacher. My major may change.
I’ve often thought about selling the crafts I make, but I don’t know if it’s worth it. I think I would get bored if I had to make a repeat of anything, but I guess if no one minded having a ‘one-of-a-kind’ item it would be okay.
I love Disney. I want to work there. (Fourteen hours is a long commute though. XD)
Honestly, keeping up a blog is a lot harder then I originally thought it would be. XD
Probably twitter is the only social media where I consistently post things…
I would like to start vlogging at some point.
I have a lot of favorite movies. (Star Wars and Anne of Green Gables just being some of them.)
I actually really like a lot of movies, and from a writer/lover of stories perspective I love going to the movie theater. I even like watching some of the movie trailers.
I make my own bread. (Or my mom does. Thanks, Mom!)
Sweet tea is the best tea. (is it even really necessary for me to say so? XD)
I like corny and cheesy movies. (Hey, Hallmark. 😉 )
What are some interesting facts about you? Do we have anything in common?

If you want to connect with me on other social media sights I’m on Facebook, Pinterest, and on Twitter and Instagram at @Naomihdowning!

  1. Books are good! Good luck with your blog.

  2. Hi! Do you have a Goodreads account? I’d love to be friends with you there!

    • I do, but I never use it… I keep thinking I should get on there more, but it seems like it could be another place to waste time… What’s your username though? I’ll try to add you when I get on again– which might be in a year. 😉
